Lois Ruth Svoboda

Lois Ruth Svoboda 87 of Speedway, IN died February 18, 2014. Lois was born on November 06, 1926 in Aliquippa, PA to Anthony Dwight and Clara Jane (Craig) Fennell. Lois was an executive secretary for the Indiana Judicial Center where she retired in 1987. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ewald Svoboda and her two sisters Alverda Allen and Betty Holmes. Lois was a very active member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church where she gave of her time, talent and treasurers. She was also a former member of the Speedway Musicale. Lois also volunteered her time at the Indianapolis Children's Museum and at St. Vincent Hospice. Calling will be held on Sunday February 23, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway 2950 North High School Road Speedway, IN 46224 from 4 to 8 pm with additional calling on Monday February 24, 2014 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church 6118 Crawfordsville Road Speedway, IN 46224 from 10 to 11 am. Funeral Services will begin at 11 am at the church. Lois is survived by her daughters Peggy Ann Graham and Nancy Jane Svoboda and her grandsons Nathan (Crystal) Graham and Dustin (Vanessa) Graham and her great grandchildren Sadie and Conrad Graham. Memorial contributions may be given in Lois's memory to St Andrew's Lutheran Church. Entombment will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery in Whitestown, Indiana.
