Lois Jean McCollum, 95, of Noblesville passed away Sunday June 8, 2025. Born June 20, 1929, in Flora Indiana, she is the daughter of the late Bert Alexander and Pauline (Wagoner) Alexander.
She was a graduate of Young America High School and attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Lois was a beautiful Christian wife and mother. She had many talents including playing the accordion, playing the piano, singing, teaching Sunday School, and embroidery. She was also a beautician in the 1950’s and 60’s. She loved hazelnut coffee, strawberry ice cream, watching basketball, and her grand-kitty, Jassie. One of her favorite pastimes was reading her Bible and Daily Bread devotionals.

She is survived by her husband, August McCollum, Noblesville, and her daughter, Julie (McCollum) Koenig, Fishers. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Donna Ridlen of Kokomo, and Wilma Martin of Kokomo, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, David Alexander and her son-in-law David Koenig
Visitation will be held from 11:30am- 1:30pm on June 13, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park (Lakeview Chapel) 4180 Westfield Rd. Westfield, IN 46060. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, June 13, 2025, with Rev. Rob Mifflin officiating. Burial will take place directly following.
