Lois Figueroa

Lois Marie Figueroa passed away November 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Currently residing in Indianapolis, she was a long time resident of Merrillville, Indiana. Born in the San Francisco Bay area on April 7, 1935 to Gabriel and Lure Collette Joubert, she was preceeded in death by her eldest son, William Figueroa, Jr. and two sisters Jean and Mary. She is survived by William, her loving husband of 54 years, and five children, Rebecca (Pat Lee) of Columbus, OH, Veronica (Fred Haas) of St. Louis, MO, Anthony (Rhonda) of Fishers, IN, Christine (Dan Ryan), and Stephen (Sarah) both of Indianapolis, 17 Grandchildren, sister Rosalie Levesque and brother Joseph Joubert. She retired from Walgreen’s after 25 years. Always one to speak her mind she loved painting, playing cards and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing Bunco with lifelong friends. She also loved the Chicago Bears, popcorn, chocolate and had really nice hair! Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway in Merrillville, Monday, November 22, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm. A celebration of her life will be held at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 8303 Taft Street in Merrillville, IN on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:00 am.
