Lois Elaine Wilkey

73, of New Castle, passed away March 10, 2019. She was born on January 21, 1946 in Amarillo, Texas as the daughter of Ernest and Selma Slate.

She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, crafting, painting, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with family/friends (especially her Tuesday Girls). She was also an avid Colts fan.

Lois is survived by her son, Jason Wilkey (wife Trina) , and grandchildren: Chris (wife Lindsey), Nick (friend Grace Fillip), and Keersten Lindeman (husband David).

She was preceded in death by her parents and late husband, David Wilkey, brothers Ken Slate and Don Slate, and sister Shirley Reed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 5-7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. There will be a service following at 7pm also at the funeral home.
