Lois Eileen Adams

Lois Eileen Adams, age 89 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday morning, December 21, 2024.

Lois was born on April 10, 1935 in Wayne County, Indiana, a daughter of Clyde Kenneth and Mary Ellen (Sapp) Adams. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Martha, one brother Louis Adams and one sister Sadie in infancy.

She is survived by her sister in law Kathy (the late Louis) Adams of Indianapolis.

Two nephews: Albert Adams of Indianapolis and nephew Kenneth (wife Michelle) Adams of Indianapolis.

Great nephews: Ian, Evan, and Ashton

Lois grew up in Indianapolis. She went Tech High School. After high school she attended nursing school. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse throughout her professional career. Lois was simple woman; she loved cats and traveling. She enjoyed many trips over the years, especially traveling to Europe many times. She will be fondly remembered.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

Her funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Pastor Dennis Austill will officiate.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery where Lois will be laid to rest in Adams family plots.
