Lloyd Edward Snapp, age 92, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026. He was born on December 2, 1933, in Paris, Kentucky, to Lloyd and Blanche Snapp.
Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. His time in service was a reflection of his dedication, discipline, and commitment to others.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Snapp; his sons, Bobby and Jeff; his parents, Lloyd and Blanche Snapp; and his siblings, Ben Thomas (Tom), Virgie Louise (Louise), Juanita Ruth (Lucy), and Robert David (Bob).
He is survived by his children, Jerry, Debbie, Mike, Ed, Barry, and Tina; his brother, Kenneth; as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy.
Lloyd dedicated many years of hard work to Sharp Ford, where he remained a valued and dependable employee until his retirement. Outside of work, he found great joy in simple pleasures—especially gardening and taking pride in keeping his lawn neatly mowed. These moments reflected his steady, hardworking nature and care for his home.
A man of faith, Lloyd was baptized and held his beliefs close throughout his life. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend—someone deeply loved by all who knew him.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
