Lloyd Russell Gray

Lloyd Russell Gray, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away February 11, 2022. He was born to Roy and Maggie Gray on October 23, 1928.

He was born in Indianapolis but soon moved to Tennessee where he lived on a farm with his parents, brothers, and sisters. He was the oldest son and helped his dad each year with farm work. As he grew older he was called to serve his country in Korea.

In 1960, Lloyd and his beloved wife, Frankie, moved to Wanamaker, Indiana. Lloyd loved living there and they raised their two children out in the country.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 67 1/2 years, Jennie “Frankie” Ausbrooks Gray, his children Vicki and Rick, grandchildren Tyler and Morgan, and great granddaughter Charlea.

Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11AM- 2PM with funeral services to begin at 2PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229.
