Lloyd Richard Glidewell

LLOYD RICHARD GLIDEWELL

of Zionsville, Indiana passed away on June 15, 2023.  Lloyd was born on January 18, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Fainer and Martha (Cotton) Glidewell.

Lloyd graduated from Pike Township High School, and then attended Butler University, Indianapolis, IN, graduating with a degree in Pharmacy.  Lloyd, known to many as Richard, spent most of his working life at several locations as a pharmacist at Haag Drug company later known as Peoples Drug.  He was an avid collector of antique pharmaceuticals and art glass. He was long time member of Traders Point Christian Church and the Indianapolis Hiking Club.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Beikman) Glidewell and sister Barbara Anne Glidewell; he is survived by his children, Jane (Katie Quay) Glidewell of Fishers, Indiana, Brian Glidewell (Mark Harris) of Iowa City, Iowa. He is also survived by grandchildren: Carlos, Bert, and Wesley Quay.
