Liz Gigax

Liz Gigax, 65, of Fishers, passed away October 4, 2013. She was born November 4, 1947 in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Robert and Evangeline (Cruise) Kelly. Liz married Kenneth Gigax on August 24, 1974. Liz received her bachelor's degree from Marian University and retired from Chrysler. Liz was actively involved with the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ken Gigax; sister, Paula Kelly of California; sister-in-law, Connie Gigax of Indianapolis; and adopted sister, Penny Handshaw of Indianapolis. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple located at 1305 E. Broad Ripple Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street.
