Linda Lee Salley

Linda Lee Salley, 71, Indianapolis, passed away March 15, 2019. She was born in Bryan, TX on August 21, 1947. She retired from Methodist Trauma where she loved her work as a Physician’s Extender. She also drove an ambulance for many years with what came to be known as Rural Metro. She was an avid Dominos player, enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants and most notably she enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Linda will be lovingly missed by her husband of 51 years, Clifton T. “Terry” Salley, whom she married on February 16, 1968; her children: Kimberly Benzenbower (Timothy), Rebecca Adkins (Zac) and David Matthew “Matt” Salley (Theresa); grandchildren: Johnathon Benzenbower, Kara Salley-Benzenbower, Makayla Benzenbower, Hugh Adkins, and Caleb and Cora Salley; great-grandchildren: Harper and Preston and Ian, whom is soon to arrive; brothers, Robert Rayborn and Michael Linsicombe; and many other loving extended family members and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Irene (Franklin) Linsicombe; father, Burley Rayborn; and her brother, Patrick Linsicombe.

Calling will be held from 12pm until 2pm with funeral services to follow at 2pm on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
