Linda Kay Richwine 62 of Speedway, went to God on October 2, 2010. Linda was born in Indianapolis on March 23, 1948. Linda was raised on the west side of Indianapolis and Speedway and lived there all of her life. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1966. Linda was employed as a telephone operator at Indianan Bell now AT&T until her auto accident in 1985 which left her a quadriplegic. Linda was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, she was a Job's Daughter, member of Alpha Pi Omega Sorority-Delta chapter, a member of 7 & 8 Christian Church group 4 Missionary group. Linda loved life and everyone who knew her loved her. Linda had a wonderful sense of humor and loved jokes. Linda would help anyone she could and expected nothing in return. Spending many summers in northern Indiana you could often find her sitting in a boat with a fishing pole in her hands or hiking along one of the paths in the woods. At home Linda enjoyed growing Orchids and Bonsai, Tropical Fish and Cooking. She will be truly missed by those who knew her.Linda was the daughter of Betty and Carl Richwine. She was preceded in passing by her parents Betty and Carl Richwine, her eldest sister and her husband Barbara and Tom Holtman and her foster brother Staton Carter. Linda is survived by her youngest sister Debra Sue Richwine. Visitation will be at Flanner and Buchanan at 2950 North High School Road Tuesday October 5, 2010 from 12:0pm to 8pm. Services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan at 10:00am on October 6, 2010, the grave side service will be immediately following.
