Linda June Starnes

Linda June Starnes, 73 of Indianapolis, IN passed away September 5, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 21, 1947 to the late Grant C. and Freda J. (Sluder) Johnson. Linda was an Accounting Manager for Indianapolis Life Insurance Company for over 30 years. She enjoyed Crocheting, taking photos, playing cards and was very active at her church, West Newton United Methodist Church. Linda is survived by her loving children, Mark (Kami) Starnes, Scott (Amanda) Starnes, her son-in-law, Micheal Spall, eight grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and her sister, Brenda Dinkeldein. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Starnes, her daughter, Julie Spall and her brother, Robert Johnson. To Celebrate Linda’s life, you are invited to join the family at 11 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the West Newton United Methodist Church 6843 Mendenhall Road Indianapolis, IN. The family request any memorial contributions be directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in her memory. The family is following her request to be cremated and a private graveside service will take place at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Brownsburg, Indiana.
