Linda L. Dorman

Linda L. Dorman of Camby, Indiana passed away surrounded by her family on August 20, 2026, at 86 years of age.

Linda was born on July 3, 1940, to the late James Pingleton and Hildegarde (Leslie) Weaver in Greencastle, Indiana. She was the loving wife of Chuck Dorman for 70 remarkable years.

She found great joy in caring for her family. Linda stayed home with her children until they began school. She then served as a Nurse’s Aide followed by helping run the family business, Chuck’s Market, but promptly retired at the age of 48 when her first grandchild was born. She went on to care for her grandchildren for many years. To say she enjoyed spending time with her family was an understatement as her whole life revolved around them. Linda gave her family the greatest gift of all: her time, presence, and unconditional love.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Chuck E. Dorman; her daughters, Connie (Glen) Hall, and Sandy (Neil) Pasch; her grandchildren, Ashley, Cody (Stacey), Emily, Karissa (Russell), Glen III, Katie (Cameron), Derek (Zoie), Zachary (Maddy), Rachel (Samuel), and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chuck Dorman, Jr.; and her grandson, Neil Pasch, Jr.

Visitation will be held 11:00am -1:00pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
