Linda "Diane" Garner

Linda Diane Garner (Foley), 81, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on December 14, 2025. Diane was born on July 15, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Charles (Bud) Foley and Barbara Ann Foley (Shaw). She graduated from Warren Central High School in 1962 and later earned her bachelor's degree from IUPUI.

Diane dedicated her early years to raising her children and assisting with the family cabinet business. Once the kids were older, she took on administrative roles at Community Hospitals and the IU School of Nursing. Additionally, she worked as a real estate agent. Diane was also an active member of the choir and served as the treasurer of Cumberland United Methodist Church for many years.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Barbara, and her first husband, Kenneth Garner.

Diane is survived by her current husband, Charles Garner; her children, Cynthia Adams (married to Charles) and Paul Garner (married to Janice); her grandchildren, Ashley Garcia (married to Ben), Jacob Garner, Skylee De-Olivera (married to Bruno), and Mackenzie Heck (married to Alex); and her great-grandchildren, Logan, Annabelle, Alex, and Vivian.

Diane was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved her family and enjoyed many activities, including traveling, reading, playing the piano, gardening, bicycling, cooking, and spending time with them.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, Indianapolis, on Friday, Dec 19th,2025 with a funeral service following at 12pm.
