Linda C. (Meade) Wampler

Linda C. (Meade) Wampler, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away December 25, 2016. Linda was born in Toms Creek, VA and raised in Benham, KY, the daughter of Warren H. and Lora J. (Smith) Meade. She was an Office Administrator at St. Francis Hospital for 14 years until her retirement. She was a member of Fairland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Peggy Sharon Martin and Janet Elaine Bow; and her brother, Larry Wayne Meade.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Kathy Wampler and Michelle Miller; and her son, James Wampler; and 4 grandchildren, Laura Wampler, Spencer, Conner and Parker Miller; her sisters, Deanna Banks, Lois Wilson, Pam Helton and Faye Young; her brother, Fred Meade and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be held from 4:00- 7:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
