Linda (Bowen) Keller

LindaBowen Keller, 67, passed away on December 21, 2015
Linda was born on June 29, 1948. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Roy and Geraldine Bowen, of Kokomo, IN. She is
survived by her husband of 43 years Michael Keller and two
children, Maureen (David Feinberg) and Doug (Barbara). She
graduated from Kokomo High School in 1966 and also received
degrees in social work and nursing from Indiana University.
After a career as social worker, Linda was a Registered Nurse
who worked at several locations, including St. Vincent Hospital
in Indianapolis, where she cared for cardiac patients. Linda was
involved in her children’s education and activities, maintained
lifelong friendships with friends from Kokomo, and made new
friends wherever she went. Linda lived a life of compassion for
those who suffered, and she will be remembered by many for the
humor she brought to others. Her family would like to thank the
nursing and therapy staff of Hamilton Trace Rehabilitation
Center for the exceptional kindness and care they provided.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at
Flanner & Buchanan – OaklawnMemorial Gardens, Conor Suite in Fishers. Acelebration of life memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the funeral center, witha "Pizza and Beer" reception to follow at Rockstone Pizzeria at 11501 Allison Road, in Fishers, from 4p.m. – 6p.m. In lieu of flowers, per Linda’s request, please consider making a memorial contribution to The American Cancer Society or The Humane Society of Hamilton County.
