Linda Arlene Williams

May 3, 1960 — May 4, 2016

Linda A. Williams, 56, entered into eternal rest in Indianapolis on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Linda was born in Fort Myers, Florida, on May 3, 1960, and grew up in Dugger, Indiana. She was the daughter of Loretta and the late James McDaniels.

Linda was a free-spirit and fighter until her last day; now free, she is undoubtedly flying at the speed of light and uncovering secrets of the universe that still elude the living. She had many passions in life: cooking, reading, video games, gambling, and sharing good times with family & friends. She spent her final years playing with her granddaughter, and secretly smoking in her room while binge watching Netflix. Linda had love affairs with great food, Johnny Depp, Menthol Kool Mild’s, Coca-Cola, horses, and true-crime stories. Linda was an incredible person who touched countless lives. She meant so much to so many people, and will be greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her two children, Justin Leigh and Ashley Williams; a grandchild, Elora Dawn Wade; her mother Loretta McDaniels; and a brother, Steve McDaniels. Linda also leaves behind numerous family, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father James McDaniels.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Wasihngton Park East.
