Lewellyn 'Willie' Soliven

Lewellyn "Willie" D. Soliven 66, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 14, 2011. He was born on March 18, 1945 in Kamuning, Quezon City, Philippines. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresita P. Soliven; brother and sister-in-law, Leopoldo Jr. and Avelina Soliven; a sister, Jean S. Gonzales; sister and brother-in-law, Lulu S. and Rosalino Alcos; brother and sister-in-law, Levy D. and Tessie Q. Soliven and several nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Willie was preceded in death by his brother, Robert D. Soliven. Willie was a registered professional engineer and worked with Sun-Ripe Coconut Products Inc. before he immigrated to U.S. soil in 1982. He was a member of Filipino-America Barangay Club of Indiana and a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church. He also worked with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management as an environmental engineer from 1990 to 2007.
