Fishers, Indiana – Levida Redell-Arkenberg, 74, passed away at home while being comforted by friends and family. She was born to parents Milton & Helen (Carol) Bagan in Indianapolis, on July 8, 1949.
Levida graduated from Arlington High School and went to work at Methodist Hospital and remaining for over forty-one years, eventually retiring from Indiana University Health in 2010. While there she met and married Herman Redell who passed in 1995.
A thoughtful woman who enjoyed gardening in her younger years, Levida still loved to play cards, and catch up on episodes of Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. Truly though, her greatest joy were her grandchildren who she would spend every moment she could with.
Levida is survived by her children, Jennifer Redell and Vincent Redell (Lindsay), grandchildren Gianna Mae Redell, Alivia Marie Redell, and Mila Louise Redell; siblings John Bagan (Sara), Melody Hamilton (Edward) and Milton Bagan (Deborah).
Visitation will be held on Friday June 7, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 1 pm to 3 pm. A memorial service will be held following with John Bagan officiating. Placement will be at Washington Park East Cemetery immediately following.
