Lester J. 'Jr' Johnson

Lester J. "JR" Johnson 68 of Indianapolis, IN passed away September 29, 2012. He was retired as a Bus Driver from IndyGo and served as the Vice President of the Union. He was a member of Indianapolis Masonic Lodge #669 F&AM and the Indianapolis Valley of Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Johnson, children, Les (Pamela) Johnson, Teresa (David) Law, grandchildren, Kayla (Darryn) Coddington, Justin Johnson, sisters, Shirley Murphy, Gail Murphy, Aileen Gunter, brothers, Chester Johnson, Jay Hall and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses and Zora Johnson, and a brother Ulyen Johnson. Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday October 4, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with visitation there on Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial will follow the service at West Newton Cemetery.
