Leslie Walton

Leslie Walton, 88, of Oaklandon, passed away January 16, 2012. He was born December 31, 1923 to John and Maude Walton. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ethel; daughter, Sarah (Julie Wolfe) Wilson, five grandchildren: Amber, Perry, Holly (Sam), Kristen, and Jacob; three great grandchildren: Eli, Alex, and Arianna, and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his son, Colin Leslie Walton and four brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Leslie was born in England and moved his family to the United States in 1968. He was retired from Allisons Transmission. He liked sports and was an avid golfer. The family would like to thank the staff in the critical care department at St. Vincent's Hospital.
