Leroy Maxey

Leroy Maxey Sr. 81, of Indianapolis, IN passed away April 12, 2013. Leroy was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from General Motors. He is survived by his sons: Rodney L. (Debra) Maxey, Leroy (Lorri) Maxey Jr. and Anthony Maxey. Daughters: Valerie (Joseph) Maxey- Hodgens and Stephanie (Samuel) Maxey-Boyd. Brothers: Clad Maxey Jr. and William R. Maxey. Sisters: Alice M. Clemons and Evonne (Walter) Banks. Cherished companion, Queen Johnson; Grandchildren: Kamaria V. Sims, Ronald D. Brown Jr. Rian Hodgens, Sherree K. Maxey, Alan J. Greene, Danielle N Boyd, Joshua M. Hodgens; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and cherished friends. Visitation will be held 11am-1pm, April 20, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan –Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 1pm.
