Leota P. Wilson

Leota Plank Wilson 89, Indianapolis, passed away May 26, 2012 in Indianapolis. Leota was born on March 13, 1923 in Hillsdale, IN to Albert A. and Evelyn C. Plank. She married John D. Wilson, Jr. in 1941. He passed away in 2002. She retired from Western Electric and was a member of Post Road Christian Church. Leota is survived by her children, Judy Diane King (Terry) and Jerry D. Wilson (Senora), sisters Paulene Haughee and Marlene Manley, brothers, Joe and Jim Plank as well as nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, seven sisters and one grandchild. She received wonderful care by her grandchildren Bryan and Annette Gray and church visitations by Don Johnson. She enjoyed family cook outs where she cooked great food for all. Friends may call from 4-7pm on Thursday, May 31, 2021 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 107422 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Funeral Center.
