Leonard Erickson

Leonard C. Erickson 66, of Zionsville, IN, passed away Sunday May 19, 2013. Leonard was born December 17, 1946, in Waltham, MA. He was preceded in death by his father Charles L. Erickson. Survived by his loving wife Pamella Ann Erickson, mother Priscilla Faith Downey, brother Clifford M. Erickson (Charlotte), daughters Priscilla and Laura, nieces Kirsten E. Keyser (Matthew) and Kari C. Greenfield (Christopher), great nieces and nephews Ethan, Kari, Luke, and Ana Keyser, and Benjamin and Anabel Greenfield. He retired from Indiana University where he was Robert Wallace Miller Professor of Oncology at the IU Cancer Center. Leonard was also a United States Navy veteran who attained the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. A memorial service is being planned for August 10, 2013, with location and time to be communicated in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the following organizations: American Cancer Society; IU Cancer Center; or Salvation Army.
