84, Fillmore, IN, passed away March 21, 2016. Leola was born April 18, 1931 in St. Francisville, IL, the daughter of Raymond and LaCigale (Mayfield) McCalip. She was a receptionist and member of the Salvation Army. Survivors: children, Rev. Robert Lester, Richard (Sherry) Lester, Cheryl (Thomas) Caplinger and Dana Lester; sister, Carolyn Peterson; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lester; son, Kenneth Lester; brother, Charles McCalip and sister, Goldie Bray. Visitation, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 25th at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis.
