Leo Wathee Dugger, 89, of Indianapolis passed away on August 25, 2026. He was born in London, Kentucky on June 5, 1937 to his parents Chris Hale and Flonnie Dugger.
In 1956, Leo moved from Kentucky to Indiana. He married the love of his life, Peggy Dugger, and together created a beautiful family. He loved his wife and they spent 69 years together until her passing in 2025.
Leo served as a superintendent for Local 119 for 44 years. In earlier years, Leo even built racecars for the Speedrome in Indianapolis. He was also an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Most of all Leo enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Judith (Rick) Sears, Gary (Sherri) Dugger, and Chasity (Chris) Goodin, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and extended family members.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, from 12PM-2PM with a funeral starting at 2PM at Flanner Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229.
