Lenora Hammond

Lenora Hammond, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away December 8, 2013. She was born in Estill County, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Nancy Margaret (Richardson) Tuttle. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hammond, her parents and 6 siblings She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Smoot (Duane) of Greenfield, IN and her son Barry Hammond (Belinda) of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Brian and Kevin Hammond, Gwendolyn Suzanne Smoot and Craig Smoot; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, entombment will in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46268 or your favorite charity.
