Leander 'Jimmy' Hollingsworth

Leander (Jimmy) Herman Hollingsworth, Jr., 82, of Hamilton, Oh, passed away on April 2, 2011. He was born March 31, 1929 in Nashville, TN to the late Leander and Martha Reynolds Hollingsworth, Sr. Leander was a member of the Chalk Hill Baptist Church in Camden, TN. His sisters, Beatrice and Mary Louis, preceded him in death. He treasured his family and friends and enjoyed driving his RV and traveling the country. He loved fishing and camping. His gift was storytelling and talking to anyone who would listen. Jimmy would always win you over as a friend with his smile and gift of life. Leander is reunited in death with his wife, Beatrice Hortense Lee Hollingsworth, after 65 years of marriage. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Linda C and William Grider; son Michael Lee Hollingsworth. Three grandchildren: Kimberly A. Grider, William Scotty (Jennifer) Grider; Valarie D. (Matthew) Schachte. One great granddaughter Gabriella Grace Grider. Mother-in-law, Ida Lee, Bowling Green, KY. Ida will celebrate her 103rd birthday this year. He also had five sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law. Note from family: "Dad, we know you’re in a better place. You will live in our hearts forever." Family and friends will gather in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North April 5, 2011 from 4 to 8:00 P.M.
