Leah Susan Burris

Leah Susan Burris, 48, of Fishers, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She was born on June 21, 1968 in Iowa City, Iowa and was a graduate of the University of Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Arts. Leah worked as a beautician for over 20 years with Lifetime Fitness in Castleton. She enjoyed gardening and painting, and was a longtime member of Servants of Christ Lutheran Church. Leah loved spending time with her family and cherished the time she had with them. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Daniel Burris; children, Max and Hazel Burris; parents, Larry and Susan Mitzner; sisters, Ann Roach and Mary Noble. Visitation for Mrs. Burris will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Servants of Christ Lutheran Church in Oaklandon from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 9am, also at the church. A Committal service will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm (Central Time) in Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City, IN.
