Layla Marie Bowman

Layla Marie Bowman, 6 months, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on January 19^th, 2021. She was born July 21, 2020 and was the beloved daughter of parents Michael Bowman and Melinda Sherfick.

Layla was a fighter. She was cute, girly-girl who loved to wear pretty bows. She loved snuggles and swaddles. Layla loved to hold hands with her family when they visited her.

She is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Melinda; her sister Kylee; her paternal grandfather Michael Bowman; step-grandmother Lynda Bowman; paternal grandma Becky Stutler; paternal great grandfather Charles Bowman; paternal great-great “Granny”, Virginia Goldsberry; maternal grandparents Melinda and Jimmie Mobley; Aunts and Uncles Dennis Sherfick, Mildred Sherfick, Brianna Bowman, Caitlyn Bowman, Charles Bowman, Hanna Campbell, Shelbie Bowman, and Chloe Bowman; and numerous cousins.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
