Lawrence Lamont Armon

Lawrence Lamont Armon, 31, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2021.

Lawrence was born February 8, 1990 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Melissa Blair and Lawrence Armon

Lawrence, who was called “Man” was a very loving hyperactive child and just being around him you got a good laugh. Somehow as a child he always ended up in some type of mischief, which resulted in a good laugh over the years. He attended Jerusalem Temple Apostolic at an early age of 3, turning his life over to the Lord in 1999 at nine years old.

Lawrence attended Sunnyside elementary Craig middle school and Lawrence North High School. He was recently employed at Superior Metal Technologies, as well as CEO of Armon Lawn Service LLC. His passion was starting a business and helping out his family and others in need.

Lawrence was very big on being around his family he always showed his face in the place. He was a devoted and loving father, who adored and loved his children. If you were to ask his son what his Dad’s favorite thing to do was, LJ would say that his dad, “loved to spend time with us and take us to fun places”. Lawrence recently taught LJ how to “make money”, by showing him how to cut grass like his dad (David) taught him. If you knew Lawrence, you knew that his favorite thing to say was to “Get Money!”

Lawrence is preceded in death by his grandmother Dorine Caldwell and grandfather Rhyman Rhodes.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents: Melissa (David) Blair and  Lawrence Armon; his children: Lawrence Armon Jr. LaJoy Armon; his siblings: Lanisha Armon, Lakesha Armon, Sheneka Washington, LaJuan Washington, Rhynesha Rhodes, Rhyman Rhodes; his grandmothers: Doris Day and Mary Blair; a loyal friend, Matt; a childhood friend, Kesean Goodnight; and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 12PM at Flanner Buchanan-Geist, 7855 Cork Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana 46236. Visitation will be 10AM-12PM. Lawrence will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery.
