Lawrence Ingram

Lawrence Lee Ingram passed away on February 14, 2012 at Seton Specialty Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1929 in New Castle, Indiana. His parents were John and Lela (Todd) Ingram. Lawrence graduated from Knightstown High School in 1947. He graduated from United Electronics Laboratories in 1960. Lawrence retired from Howard W. Sams (now ITT) after 30 years as an electronics editor and buyer. He was also a real estate broker in Zionsville for 13 years. Lawrence was a member of the Zionsville Christian Church and served as an elder, deacon, choir member, and on various committees. Lawrence enjoyed sports, especially basketball. He loved nature and being outdoors. Left to cherish his memory are: wife Kathryn; son Steve (Barb); daughter Cheryl Garlinger (Doug); grandchildren Joshua Boyle, Joel Ingram, and Hannah Ingram; step-granddaughters Angela Eberhart and Kelly Wurz; and great grandson Gabriel Reed Boyle, as well as sister Richilieu Caudill and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zionsville Christian Church. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the church with a Celebration of Life following at 12 Noon. Committal will be at Zionsville Cemetery.
