Lawrence E. "Larry" Faulk

Lawrence E. “Larry” Faulk 97 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on August 23, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1926, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John M. and Susella (Langford) Faulk. Larry as he was affectionately known, worked as an Expediter for Detroit Diesel Allison retiring in 1992. He served proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. Larry was a member of Calvary Tabernacle, enjoyed working in his yard, had a fabulous sense of humor, loved, and nurtured many animals, he enjoyed setting up and decorating his entire home and yard every year for Christmas, and loved spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will dearly be missed. He is survived by his loving wife Betty (Salter) Faulk, whom he was married to for 68 years, his daughters, Gaynelle (Jim) Mick, Paula (Alan) Stout, Deana (Jeff) Thomas, his grandchildren, Danelle (Henry), Lauren (Nate), Mitchell (Jessie), Luke (Isabel), Carly (Nick), Ryan, Riley (Tammy), Kelsey (Christian), his great grandchildren, Logan, Kennedy, McKenna, Madilyn, Morgan, Danny, Josey, Calvin, Olivia, Noah, his daughter-in-law, Janna Faulk, and his sister-in-law, Mildred Faulk. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Dr. Dan Faulk, his grandson, Derek Mick, his sisters, Freida Weaver, Flossie Lloyd, and his brothers, Morris Faulk, Thomas Faulk, John Faulk, Terrence Faulk, and Paul Faulk. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, 4:00- 8:00pm in Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park. Additional visitation will be held the following day from 10:30AM-11AM with the funeral service starting at 11:00am at the funeral home. Larry will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the service. Due to his extreme love for animals, memorial gifts may be made to any Animal Rescue Organization in his memory.
