Lawrence E. Bollman of Avon, IN, age 85, was born on July 3, 1935 and passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at his home of 53 years on Thursday June 24, 2021.

Larry was born to the late Lawrence Wilbur and Mary M Faletic Bollman in Indianapolis IN. He graduated from Brownsburg High School and married the love of his life, Anna Margaret (Cloyd) Bollman, who preceded him in death in 2007. Larry was in the Air Force and was very proud to serve his country. Throughout his life he worked in sales management in the iron and steel industry. His passions included raising and riding horses, farming, and spending time with his wife and children. Larry was a member of St Malachy Catholic Church as well as the Knights of Columbus for many years. After retirement he served as a member of the Hendricks County Honor Guard and became a member of the Hendricks County Antique Tractor Machinery Association. Lawrence was a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather…he was caring and charismatic with a great sense of humor. He always took great care in the well being of his family and was incredibly proud of his family’s milestones and achievements no matter how great or small. We are blessed to have learned so much from his 85 years of life, he will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.

Larry has four surviving children: Jeff (LauraLee) Bollman, William “Bill” (Julie) Bollman, David (Janet) Bollman, and Susan Bollman (Andy Ruff); ten grandchildren: Caleb (Beth) Bollman, Amanda (Tim) Piatek, Billy Bollman, Jason (Jinayla) Bollman, Rudger Bollman, Josh (Victoria) Bollman, Emily Bollman-Gibson, Adam (Siana) Bollman, Hank Ruff and Anna Jones; nine great-grandchildren: Lilah, Bridger, Savannah-Margaret, Mason and Vinny, Lucas and Lane, Harper, and Ava. He was close to, and dearly loved, his sister Angela Brown and brother Richard Bollman. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Lawrence Wilbur and Mary M Faletic Bollman, his loving wife Anna Margaret, (infant) daughter Laurie Anne, beloved sister Barbara Lyles, and nephew Travis Lyles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 10-12noon with funeral services to begin at 12noon at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46123.

The family would like to acknowledge the kindness, love, and dedication of Loretta Arnold and the other fine caregivers which allowed Lawrence to spend the end of his days in the comfort of his family home.
