LaVern B. Banks

74 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on July 7, 2024. Lavern was born on April 13, 1950, in Jackson, TN to the late John and Estella Woods. She was retired from Central State Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brother. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Banks, Raymond (Donichica) Banks and Shawn Banks, friend, Marguerite Carpenter, eleven grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one brother, seven sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, July 26, 2024, at 1 pm with visitation from noon till service time at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
