Lavell Alice (Mayfield) Ezell

LaVell Alice (Mayfield) Ezell, 93, Franklin, passed away March 26, 2014 at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin. She was a former resident of Indianapolis. LaVell was born to Paul and Gertrude Williams on July 13, 1920 in Indianapolis. She married Carl Mayfield in 1939 who preceded her in passing in 1973. She married James Ezell in 1988 who preceded her in passing in 2002. Lavell attended Shortridge High School in Indianapolis and was a member of Eagledale Christian Church. She loved her family and enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling, and traveling. LaVell is survived by her two daughters, Jerry Mayfield Bozicevic, Oregon, and Peggy Mayfield Kriech Ritchie (Gene), Greenwood; four grandchildren, Matthew Bozicevic, Arizona, Elizbeth Bozicevic Harris (Tom), Oregon, Aaron Kriech (Lisa), Greenwood, and Andrew Kriech (Kimberly), Greenwood; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, March 31 from 10 AM – 12 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Services will be at 12 PM with burial immediately following.
