Lauretta L. Jones

Lauretta went to walk with the Lord on September 17, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born on April 27, 1929 to the late James Joseph and Iva (Mullenix) Schultz. She married Ernest E. Jones on July 23, 1949; he proceeded her in death. Lauri was a long time member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She enjoyed making and teaching ceramics, reading, watching game shows and traveling. She is survived by her son Ernest K. Jones I and daughter Laura (Bill) Fleak and 7 grandchildren Ernest K. Jones II, Kyle Jones, Jason Jones, Jennifer Fleak, Christine Fleak, Andrea Fleak and Jeffrey Fleak. She is also survived by her brother Kenneth (Mildred) Schultz. In addition to her parents and her husband, Lauri was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph Schultz and Thomas Schultz and her sister, Mary Rafferty. Lauretta was laid to rest on September 21, 2015 at Washington Park East Cemetery alongside her husband. There will be a grave side prayer service on September 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
