Dr. Larry Friedenson

Larry Friedenson, 81, Indianapolis, passed away March 10, 2023. He was born in Washington D.C. to Fred and Sarah (Berger) Friedenson. They moved to Duluth, Minnesota, where Larry grew up. He later went on to the University of Minnesota for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Art Education. Larry came to Indiana and earned his PhD in Art Education from Indiana University and met the love of his life, Barbara Farber. They later married and were inseparable. Larry and Barbara owned several businesses an enjoy many things together such as art and traveling, and raising a family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Charlene Schwartz.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann Friedenson, sons Doug, Jason, and Adam, brothers Harvey Friedenson and Bernie (Louise) Friedenson.
