Larry 'Chunk' Pearson

Larry J. "Chunk" Pearson 73, of Westfield, formerly of Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Larry was born July 24, 1940 in Sheridan to the late Ross D. and A. Bernice Pearson. He was a real estate developer; beginning his career with Kaiser Real Estate and retiring from FC Tucker in 2000 after 40 years. Larry attended Church at the Crossing, did prison ministry and was a member of the Gideon's and DeMolay. Larry was a sports enthusiast, especially enjoyed watching his older son play hockey at Purdue and his younger son scoring the first touch-down in the Carmel Stadium. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Flanner and Buchanan - Carmel , where friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the services. Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lucinda Sloan Pearson; children, Hans Jefferson David Pearson, Gretta Danielle Pearson and Johnathan David Pearson; brothers, Phillip A. and John W. Pearson and their wives, Connie and Linda; 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the if Alzheimer's Association , St. Vincent Hospice or the Wheeler Mission.
