Larry Amick

Lawrence Craig Amick Larry Amick of Camby, Indiana died on February 26, 2012. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 13, 1933 to Weston Amick and Dorothy Lillian Springer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Lynhurst #723 and Teamsters Local 135 and worked at McLean and retired from Preston Truck Lines. He also worked for a while at Penske. He was married to Willie Mae Renner Amick, the love of his life, who preceded him in death on November 5, 2011. His daughter Sherry Amick also preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother Joe Amick and sisters Jeri Cottrell and Betty Mohr. Larry is also survived by his children Kathy Kinslow, David Amick, Jim Amick, Larry Amick II, and Doug Amick. He has 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 4-8 pm. Burial will be private.
