Laniyah Rose Mae Redmon-Duerson

Laniyah Rose Mae Redmon- Duerson, 2, of Indianapolis, IN, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on June 27, 2018 to Larry D. Duerson and Gabrielle Venessa Redmon.

Laniyah was a shining star in the sky to everyone she met. She loved to play with her cousins and family, watch Paw Patrol, and was the best big sister.

Laniyah is survived by her loving parents, Larry and Gabrielle; her beloved baby brother, Alejaundro King Redmon-Duerson; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Rosemary and Jack Freedman; Paternal grandmother, Tiffany Duerson, Joyce Williams; paternal grandfather, Tony Williams; aunts, Tyjana Duerson, Jada Duerson, Aubrieanne Duerson, Saelin Duerson, China Duerson, Miranda Goodperson, Laura Freedman, Hope Winter, Katie Redmon, Rosemary Redmon, Britany Redmon, Mary Dwyer; uncles, Christian, Bo Redmon, Robert Winter, Simon Howard, Ra’shad Duerson; great aunts, Ruth Dwyer, Cathy Jensen, Barbara Pitman; great uncles, Tom Pitman, John Pitman and Jason Lawson; cousins, Sherri Ann Cable, Elijah Allen Cable, Journii and Ja’aries Johnson, Ethan and Cameron Pieples, Haedyn and Kaylie Newhouse. She is survived by a host of additional aunts, uncles, cousins, and as well as great aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in passing by her great-grandmother and grandfather, Freda and E.J. Pitman.

A time of visiting will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 10AM-2PM with funeral services to begin at 2PM. She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
