L. Maxine Kiser

L. Maxine (Hankins) Kiser 91 of Avon, IN died February 24, 2011. Maxine was born on March 08, 1919 in Indianapolis to William Chester and Nellie (Fendley) Hankins. She was a graduate from Short Ridge High School. Maxine was a member of the Church of the Master. She was an assistant buyer for H.P. Wasson Department Stores where she retired in 1981. Her husband William Stanley Kiser preceded her in death. Calling will be held Sunday February 27, 2011 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North. Funeral service will be held at the funeral center Monday February 28, 2011 at 10 AM. Maxine is survived by her children Dennis (Lovell) Williams, Joseph (Sandra) Williams, James (Jeanne) Williams, Nancy (Danny) Feely and Beverly Squires thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren and a sister Edna Evans. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
