L. Randolph Compton
Lost his battle with lung cancer on August 31, 2012 in Indianapolis with his wife by his side. He was born in Denver Colorado on October 10, 1952. Randy lived his life for his family and warmed the hearts of everyone he came into contact with. He was passionate about music, especially piano. He was softball a District 7 Little League umpire for 18 years. He was also very involved with assisting with Warren Central Speech Team. His love will continue to flame for the love of his life, his wife of 32 years, Neddy. His passion for teaching, music, theatre, sports, and living life to its fullest will carry on through his surviving children and grandchildren. Children: Michelle (Tim) Smith, Victoria (Mel) Novilla, Nicole (Ralph) Morgan, Danny (Andréa) Compton. Grandchildren: Christopher, Austin, Nicholas, Elias, and Madeline. Calling will be Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple. Service 11:00 am Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
