Kyle La Prees

Kyle Alden La Prees, 45, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his residence in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes grade school and a 1998 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School.

Kyle had a contagious smile and always enjoyed time with friends. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, cooking, and most importantly spending time with his two boys. He was their “Buddy” to be sure.

He will be deeply missed more than words can express.

He is survived by his loving parents, John and Marty (McGary) La Prees from New Palestine, Indiana; his 2 sons, Quinlan and Hagan; as well as his step-brother, Kerry La Prees (Jennifer).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
