Kurt Allen Muinzer

Kurt A. Muinzer of Indiana passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 65. He was born at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 10, 1961 to Joseph A. Muinzer and Marlene J. Kries. He was a disabled veteran. Kurt was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers and attended games whenever possible. He also loved music and among his favorite artists were Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks and the Eagles.

Kurt is survived by his mother, Marlene Kries, sister, Laura Stainsby (James), brother, Darryl Kries (Jill), niece, Katherine Craig (Brian), niece, Hannah Kries, niece, Julia Kries and nephew, Ricky Haston.

Visitation will be on June 9, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by a service from 11:00-11:30 AM at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana. A graveside service will follow at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana where Kurt will be interred.
