March 23, 1949 — September 24, 2021

Noblesville

Kristina Lu (Beard) Strang, 72, of Noblesville became a resident of Heaven on September 24, 2021.  PTL!  She was born March 23, 1949, in Frankfort, the daughter of Russell Edward and Esther LaVonne (Scheirer) Beard and the sister of Suzanne Kay (Wilmer L.) Good (My go to Prayer Warrior).  She grew up and went to school at Rossville Consolidated Schools and attended the Methodist Church, where her mother, Esther, was a Sunday School Teacher for nearly 60 years and introduced many youth to Jesus as their Savior!  Her dad, Russell, kept all the vehicles in the community running smoothly! She enjoyed being a Rossville Cheerleader for many years, as one of her fondest memories and graduated from Rossville High School in 1967. She then attended Purdue University where she met the love of her life, Michael Raymond Strang, and earned her M.R.S degree! She graduated from Cosmetology School and enjoyed being a Beautician for many years as it was a great platform to share her love of Jesus! On August 23, 1970, she and Mike were married in Rossville, IN and later moved to Plymouth, IN.  In August 1971, God blessed them with their son, Chad Raymond.  Then in December 1972, they were again blessed with their daughter, Angela Lu. Kris started her career as a Beautician in West Lafayette and once she and Mike moved to Plymouth, she focused on raising a family and serving others in the community.  Later on, she was blessed to find a wonderful position with Silhouette Salon in Lapaz where she continued to share the love of Jesus with her clients and developed some life-long friendships. She spent several years working at Walkerton Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide where she loved on children and encouraged them with her bright smile and positive attitude. Once she and Mike built their new home, she hung her shingle for Shear Country and started her own shop. As Mike’s construction and engineering companies grew, she was recruited as his Office Manager to keep everything running smoothly. Kris was very involved with her children and their activities such as Bible School, Polk Township 4-H Club and sporting events. She also made time for Christina Women’s Club bible coffees and leading others to the Lord, her main mission in her life! In April of 2000, Angie married Matt Moller and since then they have blessed them with three wonderful grandchildren.  Their first grandson, Michael, born in 2002 and was always her inspiration to never give up and to remember, “We are King’s Kids and we can do all things through Christ who gives us our strength!”. Kaleigh, born in 2006, started writing songs for Jesus at age 5 and has developed such a beautiful spirit of loving others.  Joshua, born in 2008, is their deep thinker with a very caring spirit, always reaching out to friends who need love and kindness! Mike and Kris are lovingly known to their grandkids as Papa & Nene. They attended several churches in their lifetime and discovered that there is only one true church, the body of Christ here on earth, called to learn to love and live for Jesus! Their greatest joy in life is to know that their family have all accepted Jesus Chris as their Lord and Savior and they will be together forever in eternity! Kris truly thanks the Lord for her wonderful husband and loving family!  She sends love & hugs to her dynamic prayer warrior Sisters in Christ, who always helped to remind her to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path!  Proverbs 3: 5,6.  Praise the Lord, HEAVEN IS FOREVER! Keep your eyes on the eastern skies, Jesus is coming soon! Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Care Center or the Wounded Warrior Project.  Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Carmel.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.
