Kristie Anne Clinkscales

Kristie Anne Clinkscales, 38, beloved daughter of Lester and Ann Clinkscales departed this life on February 26, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kristie was introduced to the Lord at an early age. She attended the Church of God in Christ and The Blended Church. Kristie was a 1991 graduate of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory High School and a 1995 graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Kristie received top honors at Purdue University School of Nursing and was awarded the Spirit of Nursing Award. To climax her excellent academic career, she was awarded the Ethel Crockett Epple Outstanding Senior in Nursing Award, was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and was named Who's Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Kristie received her Master's Degree in Nursing at Indiana University in 1998. Upon graduation from Indiana University, Kristie worked at Hooverwood Indianapolis Jewish Home, Inc. and St. Vincent Hospital. Kristie worked as a registered nurse then as a nurse practitioner for over 10 years. She leaves behind her parents, Lester and Ann Clinkscales; brother, Sherard Clinkscales and his wife Trisha Clinkscales; nephew, Alex Clinkscales; niece, Tara Clinkscales and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and her beloved dogs Scout and Santana and a host of other family members and friends. The wake will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North located at 2706 Kessler Boulevard West Drive. The funeral services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church located at 5111 West 62nd Street on Friday, March 2, 2012, at Noon with calling from 11 AM to service time.
