Kimberly Sue Link

Kimberly Sue Link, 60, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, June 21, 2026.

Born on October 21, 1965, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kim was the beloved daughter of Wayne Douglas Barrier and Dora LaVerne (Kays) Barrier. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, her caring heart, and the many cherished memories she created with those closest to her.

Kim is survived by her devoted lifelong partner, Thomas Duffy of Plainfield; her three children, Ashley Denise Slattery (Daniel) of North Port, Florida, Shelby Renea Link of Indianapolis, and Zachary Wayne Thomas Link of Plainfield; and her treasured grandchildren, Brayden, Brianna, and Brynnley Slattery, who brought her great joy and pride.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dora and Wayne Barrier, and her biological father, Wesley Ross Link.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, located at 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221.

A funeral service celebrating Kim's life will begin at 1:00 PM.

Following the service, she will be laid to rest at White Lick Friends Cemetery in Mooresville, where she will rest beside her beloved mother, Dora Barrier.

Though she will be deeply missed, Kim's love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
