Kevin Troutman, 55, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2025. He was born on July 28, 1969, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
Kevin moved to Indiana in junior high school, later graduating from Carmel High School. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and an avid racing fan who loved all of the festivities of the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kevin was a proud member of the section 32 crew at the IMS and looked forward to many gatherings of friends and family over the month.
Kevin had a love of water and boating, spending all of his summer free time visiting his parents in Beaver Island, Michigan, and enjoying a family house in Culver, Indiana. He loved boating with friends, jet skis, and taking his dogs to swim in the lake. He worked at Lockhart Cadillac for over 15 years as a Controller and had an avid love of Corvettes and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Alexis Harlan; step daughter, Skyler (Brandon) Moore; mother, Linda Troutman; sister, Tammi (Rob) Newcomer; brother, Scott (Keari) Troutman; five grandchildren; and many many wonderful nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his father and dear friend Ed Troutman.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 10am to 12 noon, with a Memorial Service at 12 noon, at Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Love of Labs or Indiana Canine Assistant Network.
