Kevin Brent Mcwilliams

Kevin Brent McWilliams, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on July 10th, 2023, at the age of 54. He was born in Columbus, Indiana to David Brent McWilliams and Brenda Kay (Cox) McWilliams. Kevin graduated from Bloomington South High School in 1986. He went on to graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University with a master’s degree in business management.

Kevin was a hardworking and dedicated employee and worked at several different places throughout his career such as Hall Signs, Otis Elevator, Harley Davidson of Bloomington and was recently employed at Lucas Oil Products for the past 17 years. He was dynamic in his space servicing Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Western Michigan. In 2012, Kevin received the Salesmen of the Year Award and played an instrumental role in bridging the relationship between NAPA Auto Parts and the Indianapolis Colts. Those that worked with Kevin found him to be intentional in the pursuit of achieving his goals and he was always professional and genuinely appreciative when working with other departments. The overwhelming outreach and love from his loyal customers help tell the story of Kevin’s ability to truly cultivate and elevate relationships.

Kevin’s love for music, especially hard rock and heavy metal started at a young age and continued throughout his life, with Metallica being his all-time favorite band to listen to, see in concert and play when working out. One of Kevin’s favorite places to hang out was in his music room, playing his guitars and surrounding himself with albums and posters he had collected over the years. Kevin loved writing funny songs and putting them to music. Kevin also had a love for motorcycles. He owned a 2005 Harley Davidson Road King Custom. Kevin loved participating in motorcycle charity rides such as “The Loop For Life” which benefitted Riley Children’s Hospital.Kevin enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and showering them with love. Kevin was a kind soul with a smile that would light up a room and had a great sense of humor. His positive outlook on life and caring disposition affected many people.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, David Brent McWilliams, his grandparents Homer and Mary Cox, James A. King and Iva (McWilliams) King and Evert and Thelma McWilliams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Shelly (Sowders) McWilliams, mother Brenda Kay (Cox) McWilliams, brother Kip McWilliams (Melissa), sister Kelly (McWilliams) Sipes (Andy), nieces Ava Mae McWilliams and Jamie (Sipes) Hendrickson, nephews Jesse Sipes (Taylor Knight) and Curtiss Malicoat Jr. (Rachel), great nieces Lexie and Livia Hendrickson and Sophia Malicoat.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 29th, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 PM at The Farm, located at 1448 Conner St. Noblesville, IN 46060. The Celebration of Life Program will start promptly at 1:00 pm.
